The Bennington and Catamount Rotary Four Way Test Contest

April 1, 2015

This year the contest took place in the Career Development Center Conference Room. There were ten students, all of whom were articulate and well prepared. Each student had selected a topic of great importance and had researched it well.

The third place winner was William Buckley (not shown) who spoke about a man who became his friend when he worked serving dinners to the homeless. He won $100.

The second place winner was Benjamin Michon who spoke about three local schools that were doing better than many outside of Bennington realized, MAUHS, Community College and Bennington College. He won $200.

The first place winner was Baha Hamadna, an exchange student from Palestine who showed what life would be like in Bennington if there were the same barriers erected that there are in Palestine. He won an ipad. The first place winner will go the semi-finals in Henniker, New Hampshire.
